Some of Chuck & Crista’s favorite roads in northeastern Frederick County, with a diversion to Ladiesburg for International Women’s Day. Based heavily on permanent #3925 – Over the Hill with Doctor Disc
Ride will start at 9 AM from Gravel and Grind (15 E 6th St Frederick, MD 21701) and finish at Olde Mother Brewery (526 N Market St Frederick, MD 21701). Please street park rather than using their parking lot!!!
2025 Pre-Ride Notes:
All of the roads were in good shape and there are only a few notes to keep in mind. When you make a right on Motter Avenue, at 0.5 miles, your right will be the second Motter Avenue, so skip the first one you come to. Services on the route are largely limited to Union Bridge at mile 29 and Libertytown at mile 47. In Union Bridge the gps will direct you to the 7-11. Original Pizza is available with a left turn on Main, as well as the Flood Zone Marketplace and Brewery if you ride all the way down to the creek. The staff at the 7-11 were nice and accommodating, and there is a bathroom, so it worked well for us. In Libertytown there is another 7-11, on the right just before you leave town.
